About the Exec
PRESIDENT - Regan Hunter
Regan Hunter is TDTC veteran and finalist at Durham University who was introduced to MT at Durham through the annual Freshers' Showcase, swiftly following this will her incredible performance as Logainne in our 2024 Epiphany Term produciton of 'The 25th Annual Putman County Spelling Bee.' Regan has since been involved in several other productions, most recently as 'WHAM' for 'Alice by Heart'. She cannot wait to see what this year has in store for Tone Deaf, and looks forward to facilitating the incredible productions to come!

VICE PRESIDENT - Estelle Pollard-Cox
Estelle is a Durham finalist and our wonderful Vice President! In her role, she oversees our outreach projects, organises exec stash and, alongside Regan and the other exec members, plans society and Alumni events. She made her TDTC debut as the wonderful Director of our Summer '25 production of Alice by Heart, and cannot wait to see what the coming year has in store for the company!
TREASURER - Jonathan Wilson-Downs
Jonathan is a second year at Durham, and an incredibly experienced technician who most recently made his Durham performing debut in Rocky Horror! As the 2025/26 'tax-man' of TDTC, Jonathan will be busy chasing people for their subs/memberships and making sure that our budgets continue to give our shows the ability to be creatively and technically ambitious!
PUBLICITY OFFICER - Evie Collins
Evie Collins is a second year student studying marketing and management who will be bringing her all her marketing wisdom to the role of Publicity Officer this year! Evie is experienced in both the creative AND production team sides of theatre, most recently solo producing Alice by Heart for our summer term. Keep an eye out for her fantastic graphics around Durham and at the Freshers' fair!
TECHNICAL OFFICER - Alex McCalmont
Alex is a 3rd year at Durham, and TDTC's first ever 'Technical Officer'! Leading the charge on this role, Alex will bring her plethora of technical knowledge to the role to help select production managers for shows and assist the exec in budgeting for a vast array of technical endeavours in the coming year. Last year, she was the secretary for college theatre, and she cannot wait to see what this year has in store for TDTC!
SECRETARY - Grace Mathews
Grace is a second year Natural Sciences student in St. Aidan's College, who promises she knows the entirety of Matilda by heart. Most recently acting as Stage Manager for Alice by Heart, Grace has an extensive knowledge of the production team side of MT.
As Secretary, Grace will be responsible for taking minutes during meetings, updating the standing orders, and overseeing the AGM later in the year!
